 | | The restoration of this unusual trullo was a real challenge as the owners needed it to be wheel chair friendly but, at the same time, wanted to maintain as many of the original characteristics as possible. Their requirements were achieved by eliminating all the architectural barriers and integrating contemporary open space in a natural way into the trullo interior. With new openings to obtain maximum light, the outcome of the project is a unique holiday home with all modern comforts incorporated into the trullo shell. |
